Purpose and Scope
This policy explains how interns are onboarded, what is expected from them, and what they can expect from WyzLab Solutions OPC (“WyzLab Solutions”) during their internship. It applies to all school-accredited student interns working with WyzLab Solutions and its product brands, whether remote or hybrid.
Intern roles covered by this policy:
Developer Interns
Multimedia Interns
Course Creation Interns
Nature and Objectives of the Internship
The internship is a school-accredited, primarily educational engagement designed to complement academic learning with hands-on experience.
The internship does not create an employer–employee relationship under the Philippine Labor Code; it is governed by the school–company Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and this policy.
Core objectives:
Develop real-world skills in the intern’s track (development, multimedia, or course creation).
Teach collaboration using modern tools and workflows.
Enable interns to build a professional portfolio they can use for future opportunities.
Internship Structure, Hours, and Allowance
Stages and Hours
Standard structure for all interns:
Stage 1 – Evaluation Period
First 120 hours are unpaid.
Focus: onboarding, skills assessment, reliability, collaboration, and fit.
Stage 2 – Performance-Based Training Allowance
After successful completion of Stage 1 (based on performance and behavior), interns become eligible for a training allowance.
Allowance
For interns who pass the evaluation period:
Monthly training allowance: PHP 5,000.00.
Covers up to 160 hours per month (flexible schedule, aligned with school requirements).
This is a training allowance/stipend, not a salary or wage. It is intended as partial support while interns gain experience and build their portfolio.
Developer interns are also provided a monthly paid access to GitHub CoPilot.
All interns are provided a learning stipend of PHP 500 per month for learning and development (e.g., course enrollment, subscription payment), reimbursable upon presentation of a receipt.
Payment Schedule and Conditions
Allowance (for eligible interns) is released at the end of each calendar month, subject to:
Submission of a complete and accurate timesheet for that month (screenshot of the timer preferred).
Submission of a brief progress update, summarizing:
Tasks completed
Skills learned
Portfolio-relevant outputs (features, assets, or course content).
Hours not rendered are not payable. The company may withhold or prorate allowance if timesheets or reports are missing, late, or falsified.
Work Arrangement, Schedule, and Communication
Work is primarily remote, using digital tools provided by WyzLab Solutions.
Interns will follow flexible hours, aligned with the school’s required total hours and agreed weekly targets (e.g., 20–40 hours/week).
Interns must:
Attend required online meetings, orientations, and check-ins.
Inform the supervisor in advance if they cannot attend a scheduled session.
Respond to messages within a reasonable time during agreed “core hours.”

This account is used to access:
Slack
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
Agiled
TidyCal
